Challenge

Our team worked with Daikin, the world’s largest HVAC provider, to develop a new D2C ecommerce channel. Daikin sells through the traditional distributor, dealer, retailer channel, and we had to introduce new capabilities to empower the internal team, while not alienating the channel. We provided website design and development, implemented a growth marketing experimentation framework, and developed a unified reporting dashboard.

Challenge

Daikin, the world’s largest HVAC provider, sells through the traditional distributor, dealer, retailer channel. They wanted to develop a D2C ecommerce capability without threatening the existing channel.

Solution

  • Designed / developed ecommerce website: Open CMS and tech stack to easily transitioned to internal teams.
  • Created all digital content: certification specifications, legal approvals and customization for multiple audiences.
  • Developed overall market launch, multi-channel marketing plan, digital campaigns, experiments
  • Coordinated employee program: in factory QR-coded posters, email, in-app push, office TV displays, SMS.
  • Implemented analytics and tracking. Created unified dashboard - campaign, ecommerce sales, backend data.

  • Enabled marketing team to make real-time  web content changes and run landing page tests without relying on IT.
