Overview

Exelon, the largest utility in the US, wanted a partner that could add value across the product life cycle. Our team designed and developed cross-platform mobile apps and an ecommerce store, and managed all marketing, user acquisition and monetization. Based on traction, the app was spun out and sold.

Challenge

Exelon wanted to develop a startup that helps users understand and measure their environmental impact and mitigate it.

Solution

  • Designed and developed the EcoCred website, iOS / Android apps and content.
  • Monetized through B2C product ecommerce and B2B carbon offset.
  • Managed cross-channel acquisition programs - Organic, paid search, social, email, in-app, push.
  • Ran extensive audience and product validation experiments, funnel analysis, KPI reporting and optimization.

Results

  • Grew the platform to 1 million users. 
  • Due to the traction, Exelon, spun out and sold EcoCred to an outside firm.
